What is behind the idea of children's furniture for playing?
We have set ourselves the challenge of developing a new type of children's furniture that is even more playful but also even more useful. The result is Playzzle, a unique piece of furniture that is a game, decorative object and puzzle in one.
We've found a clever solution by integrating exciting shapes into a huge puzzle. The exciting Marimekko fabric with its distinctive patterns was perfect for our product.
Not square, very practical and exciting!
The Playzzle play furniture is particularly suitable for families with many children, for waiting rooms in pediatric and gynecological practices and for kindergartens. The soft modules covered with high-quality marimekko fabrics can be assembled into a coherent cuboid, but also into a play area or seating area. With an additional attachment strap, you can also use the modules as a guest bed while lying down.
The appeal of this play furniture lies above all in the different conditions of use: tidy on the one hand, as a seating area, on the other hand as a variable building toy. Standing upright, the Playzzle can also be stored to save space.
Building and playing with Playzzle combines the sensory and motor experience of layering the modules on top of each other with the cognitive challenge of building the modules in the right order. The sense of proportions, sequences and distances is trained. In this way, children learn to name different sizes and shapes and to assess the perfect fit. You also have a sense of success when the modules are put together in a suitable way. Since trying things out stimulates the imagination, new game ideas arise.
