How can that be a performance tool at a discount store?
With the new 20V brushless performance lineup from PARKSIDE, our partner also relies on the expertise of Projekter Industrial Design. For over 19 years, we have gained experience in the development of power tools. We used this experience to create the new flagship product, the 20V brushless performance hammer from the new PARKSIDE line.
As the name “Performance” suggests, these products are about quality and performance. Nevertheless, the product should remain affordable for end users, so that it can still be sold as a discount product under the PARKSIDE brand.
This is not only made possible by an excellent cost calculation from our partners. The economical and conscious use of plastic and metal components also saves costs and resources. Our expert designers take this into account not only during construction, but also when designing the product.
Care was taken to avoid empty space. The outer skin, i.e. the visible plastic/metal surfaces, was placed as close as possible to the inner mechanics and electronics.

Why brushless
Brushless motors are smaller and yet have more power. This also justifies the higher price of the product compared to products with conventional motors. The more compact design of the brushless motor allows us to make the product slimmer. Our partner is once again saving plastic and is able to meet its target price despite high-quality electronic components. Electronics/mechanics that are as compact as possible on the one hand and the design of the outer skin based strictly on these components on the other hand result in a product with a comparatively slim silhouette.
Despite the slim design, the PARKSIDE 20V Performance Line-up is intended to provide end users with power and endurance even before use.
Finishes with straight shapes and narrow radii and additive elements, such as ribs and protruding TPE fields in the grip area, make the product appear robust and strong.
By using related design elements, the PARKSIDE family concept is continued across series. The interplay of black plastic and lighter metal components in the color “gunmetal silver” gives the product a sportier and more aggressive touch. The user automatically creates associations with well-known products in the same color combination. These can often be found in the automotive industry.
In the context of a power tool, aggressiveness should not be regarded as negative. This name combines the characteristics of performance and robustness and follows the trend known from the automotive industry.
