Hybrid design for modern demands in workshops and leisure
The compressor hybrid designed by us combines functionality and aesthetics. It allows easy handling and precise pressure control when inflating inflatable objects. The compact design integrates a wide range of functions in a relatively small package, taking into account brand consistency and optimal use of battery and motor ventilation.
concept
The compact 2-in-1 device that we designed for PARKSIDE combines compressor and air pump in one device. It was specially developed for private use, e.g. for bicycle tires, air mattresses, SUP boards and inflatable boats. The main concept behind the design was to combine many functions and features in a very compact device.
Formal design
The outer shell of the device was designed by us and visualized using CAD construction. The challenge was to integrate the various functions into an aesthetically appealing housing. We have made sure that the design fits into the design language of the ParkSide device family to ensure brand consistency.
Ergonomics and handling
When developing the device, great emphasis was placed on ergonomics and ease of use, among other things. The device was designed to be easy to handle and convenient to use. The placement of the control elements and the arrangement of the various compartments and shelves have been chosen so that operation is as intuitive as possible.
Product features
The compact design for the compressor hybrid has several practical features. It combines a compressor and an air pump to inflate bicycle tires as well as air mattresses and inflatable boats. Side storage compartments provide space for hoses and an adapter compartment with a transparent hinged lid allows various adapters to be safely stored.
The backlit LC display with pressure display allows the user to read the current pressure and set the desired pressure. In this way, the pressure can be precisely controlled.

specifics
An unusual feature of the device is the vertical arrangement of the replaceable battery on the back of the compressor, which keeps the device's footprint low and allows the device to be used with various X20V TEAM battery sizes. Adequate ventilation of the motor is also ensured to effectively regulate heat generation.
