We have been imple­men­ting the new padd­le models for the tra­di­tio­nal Ger­man brand Lett­man from Moers sin­ce 2013.

The Lett­mann com­pa­ny has been a lea­der in the deve­lo­p­ment of cano­e­ing padd­les for over 50 years. Many Olym­pic vic­to­ries and world cham­pi­on­ship titles can be tra­ced back to the advan­ced and inno­va­ti­ve padd­le concepts.

Sin­ce the com­pa­ny was han­ded over to the second gene­ra­ti­on of the fami­ly, the trend has been towards much more dura­ble and com­plex molds that can only be pro­du­ced using the CNC pro­cess. PROJEKTER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN takes over the tran­si­ti­on from the pre­vious­ly purely manu­al pro­duc­tion of molds and molds to digi­tal imple­men­ta­ti­on. With our know-how in the are­as of lami­na­ting tech­no­lo­gy, mold making and digi­tal tool design, we sup­port the Lett­mann com­pa­ny in pro­cess acce­le­ra­ti­on and qua­li­ty assurance.

FULL SERVICE FOR TOOL MAKING

The pro­ces­sing by PROJEKTER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN includes the deve­lo­p­ment pro­cess: from the struc­tu­ral con­sul­ta­ti­on of the com­pon­ents, through the joint design and ana­ly­sis of strength and sta­tic form details, to the CAD imple­men­ta­ti­on of the raw and tool parts.

The infu­si­on and pre­preg lami­na­te molds are imple­men­ted in clo­se coope­ra­ti­on with Lett­mann eit­her with Rhi­no­ce­ros 3D or SolidWorks.

THE RESULT

Sin­ce PROJEKTER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN got invol­ved in 2013, in addi­ti­on to various recrea­tio­nal and com­pe­ti­ti­on padd­les (Speed, Mul­ti­wa­ve, Ergo­nom WW and Pro, Dra­gon, TyWarp), many other pro­ducts such as white water kay­aks and kay­ak accessories.
